SHAQUILE O'NEAL AND DR DRE TEAM UP TO RELEASE HIP HOP SINGLE TITLED "RIDING WITH PIRELLIS"
NBA super star Shaquille O'Neal has teamed up with veteran Hip Hop producer Dr Dre to produce a hot new rap single on the DJ Diesel Mixtape. The single "Dat's Me" is the seventh song on the album and features a chorus line in which Shaq tells how he and Dr Dre are the hottest stars on the streets rolling on 20-inch Pirellis.
The song' schorus is:
"Big Shaq & the Dr D-R-E
Who the hottest on the streets
Dog we are
Hit the telly with 20-inch Pirellis
That's gangster
And there ain't nothing you can tell me"
Shaquille O'Neal started his NBA career in Orlando. In 1996 he moved to Los Angeles for $120 million and the chance to enhance his acting and rap music careers. After eight momentous seasons in Los Angeles, he was traded to the Miami Heat after completion of the past season. His rap albums have included Shaq Diesel (1993) and You Can' t Stop the Reign (1998). In films he has played a rapping genie in Kazaam (1996) and a super-size crime fighter in Steel (1997). Shaq also has a significant stable of cars including a Rolls Royce Phantom, which he "rides around in on 22-inch Pirellis." Dr Dre (AKA Andre Young) is regarded as one of the most talented and innovative producers in the music industry. Dr Dre co-founded the rap group N.W.A, one of the most successful hip hop groups of the late 1980s. In 1993 his solo effort, The Chronic, was a critical and popular success, after which Dre turned his attention to producing and helped launch the careers of Warren G. and Snoop Dogg. In 1999 Dr Dre helped produce Eminem' s top-selling The Slim Shady LP and has been the principal musical influence behind Eminem, 50 Cent, the GUnit and other multi-platinum-selling current artists.
