Marco Verzino

Director of Quality
Pirelli Tire North America

Prior to joining Pirelli, Verzino worked with a software company in the UK, and then joined FATA, a main contracting and automation company.  He returned to Italy to become a software consultant in Turin, concentrating on quality and re-engineering quality processes. 

Verzino also taught school in Helsingborg, Sweden, before serving two years as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Italian Army. He then worked as a software consultant with human resources at Informatica, returning home to Turin to work with Pirelli at its Italian Center of Quality.  

In 1999, he began working as OE Quality Manager in Milan where he focused on product industrialization and OE before concentrating solely on OE Quality as Quality Manager. 

In 2004 Verzino moved from Car to Moto BU at Pirelli as Market Quality, OE Quality and Industrial Quality Manager.  In 2006 he assumed the position of Quality Director in the US. 

Verzino earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Industrial Production at Turin Polytechnic and another Bachelor of Science degree in European Business with Technology at Brighton in the UK.
