Cold Weather Tire Handling Recommendation

We suggest that when ambient temperatures near 35F (1C), tires should be handled with care and should not be subjected to impacts or flexing:

• Avoid dropping tires from trucks or tire carts allowing them to bounce because they may crack on the surface as they may be brittle from the temperature conditions.
• If you are mounting tires in these conditions you must pre-heat tires before fitting.

If a tire shows signs of cold cracking, this may be cosmetic and may not affect performance of tire or safety, please contact Pirelli Motorsport team for evaluation and recommendation.
