Mexico Race Rain Tires

We are notifying all DP and GT teams that starting with the Mexico City 250 we will only transport rain tires that have been pre-ordered.  Beginning with the Mexico City 250, all teams must contact Pirelli Tire North America to order rain tires if they are needed. Pirelli encourages all teams to keep one or more sets of rain tires in their possession at all times. At the GAINSCO Grand Prix of Miami we will distribute rain tires to teams that qualify for free tires under the Pirelli Pacesetter program.  All tires must be claimed at the Homestead event.

The criteria for receiving free rain tires under the Pirelli Pacesetter program are:

• Must be a Top-15 DP or a top-10 GT teams from last season.
• All teams that competed at Daytona Rolex 24 this year and are officially registered to compete at Homestead and Mexico City qualify for the program.
• Team must be "current" with Pirelli accounting office.
